Ru-Mei Guo, a student of the Institute's master's program, was named winner of the 2018 Master's thesis award of Cultural Studies Association, Taiwan; her master's thesis- Transnational Dissemination and Localization of Light Novels.

Chi-Han Lin, a student of the Institute's master's program, was named winner of the 2018 Outstanding Master's thesis in Taiwan Literature Scholarship Grant of National Museum of Taiwan Literature; his master's thesis- Minority Writings in the Sinophone Context: The Narrative of Mobility in Syaman Rapongan, Dadelavan Ibau, and Alai.

Wan-Yu Yeh, a student of the Institute's master's program, was named winner of the 2016 Outstanding Master's thesis in Taiwan Literature Scholarship Grant of National Museum of Taiwan Literature; her master's thesis- The "Voice" of Taiwan Indigenous Peoples in Popular Music.

Yi-Wen Chuang, a student of the Institute's PhD's program, was named winner of the 2016 Outstanding Master's thesis in Taiwan Literature Scholarship Grant of National Museum of Taiwan Literature; her master's thesis- A Study Of Classical Literature And The Activities On Lin Ben Yuan’s Family Under The Relations Between FuJian And Taiwan Since 18th Century.

Chuan-Fen Chuang, an alumnus of the Institute, was named the 2nd place winner of the Taipei-Tianmu Rotary Club's Thesis Scholarship for her master's thesis Cultural Representations of Water Ecology in Taiwan: Nature Writings of Ming-Yi Wu, Documentary Films of Mayaw Biho and Jin-Yuan Ke.

Sheng-Yi Cheng, a student of the Institute's master's program, was named winner of the Dissertation Scholarship Grant; his master's thesis- Film Perspectives of Taiwan's Indigenous People: a Discussion of Bilin Yabu's Documentaries was included in the annual thesis compilation by the The National Museum of Taiwan Literature.

Jo-Tzu Yang, an alumnus of the Institute, received the Ministry of Education's Dissertation and Journal Publication Scholarship Grants for Promoting Gender Equality for her thesis Gender Power and Sexuality Performance: A Study on Taiwan Romance Fiction between 1990 and 2011.
